USER GUIDE – Magento 2 Product FAQ Pro Extension
Overview
The Product FAQ Pro extension is an upgraded version of our free Product FAQ module. The Pro version adds two new features: assigning FAQs to products based on their attribute set and assigning FAQs to products in selected categories. These features help store owners assign FAQs more efficiently to products. The Pro version depends on the Free version, so you need to have the Free version installed.

1. Store Configuration
a) Go to Magento 2 Admin > Stores > Configuration > MAGEARMY > Product FAQs > General
- Enable: Set Yes/No to enable or disable the extension in the front-end.
b) After configuring all the options, please save the configuration by clicking the 'Save Config' button.
Note: Whenever you make any changes to the configuration or save it, ensure that you clear the cache to take immediate effect of your changes on the frontend.
2. How to Manage FAQs
Adding New FAQ
a) Go to Magento 2 Admin > MageArmy > Product FAQs
- Click Add New FAQ button to create a new FAQ.
b) Fill FAQ Information
- Question: Enter the frequently asked question that customers might have about products.
- Answer: Provide a comprehensive and helpful answer to the question.
- Enable: Set Yes/No to enable or disable this specific FAQ on the frontend.
- Assign to all Products: Set Yes to assign the FAQ to all products.
c) Linking Products to FAQ
- Assign to Product with Attribute Sets: Select one or multiple product attribute sets to which you want to assign the FAQ. If the product belongs to one of the match attribute set in the frontend, faq will be displayed.
- Assign to Product with Category: Select one or multiple categories to which you want to assign the FAQ. If the product belongs to one of the match categories in the frontend, faq will be displayed.
- Scroll down to the Related Product section in the FAQ form.
- Use column filters (ID, Name, SKU, Price, Status) to search products.
- Check the boxes next to products you want to link to this FAQ.
- Save the FAQ by clicking the 'Save' button.
3. How to Test
a) Navigate to one of the products in your storefront that you linked to the FAQ.
b) Look for the FAQ tab on the product page.
c) Verify that your selected FAQ appears and displays correctly.
Note: Always test on a staging environment before deploying to production. Ensure you have proper backups before making any changes to the live site.
