Privacy Policy for AI SEO Analysis

AI SEO Analysis is a Magento 2 extension that runs inside your own Magento admin, installed on your own hosting. It reads data from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, and from your own product catalog, to generate SEO recommendations. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

1. Information the Extension Accesses

Google Search Console: page-level clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average search position, for the specific product page you run an analysis on. It also reads that page's indexing status, robots.txt/crawl status, and any structured-data (rich results) issues Google has flagged for it.
Google Analytics 4: page-level users, page views, and engagement duration for the specific product page you run an analysis on.
Google account access (setup only): the list of GA4 properties and Search Console sites your connected Google account has access to, used only to populate the property and site selectors in your configuration screen.
Your product content: the product's name, URL, meta title, meta description, short description and description, read from your own Magento catalog.
We do not request or collect your Google name, email address, or profile picture. The Google OAuth connection is scoped to read-only access to Analytics and Search Console data only.

2. How This Data Is Used and Stored

The extension runs entirely within your own Magento installation. Your Google Analytics and Search Console data snapshots, your Google connection credentials, and your configuration are stored in your own Magento database, on your own server. We do not operate a central server that receives or stores this data.

To generate recommendations, the extension sends the data above together with the product content listed to the AI provider with your own API key. That transfer happens directly from your server to the AI provider you configured; we are not a party to it.

We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual people.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)

AI SEO Analysis's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data retrieved via Google APIs.
We do not use Google API data to serve advertisements of any kind.
We have no access to your Google API data ourselves — it is stored only in your own Magento database and shared only with the AI provider you explicitly configure to generate your SEO analysis.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored only in your own Magento database, you control its retention directly:

Disconnecting Google: click Disconnect in Stores > Configuration > Magearmy > AI SEO Analysis to revoke the extension's access to your Google account at any time, or revoke it from your Google Account's Security settings.
Removing stored data: uninstalling the extension stops it from collecting further data. Existing snapshots remain in your own database tables until you remove them, consistent with how any other Magento extension's data works.
